Abstract SAP ERP systems have long been integral to enterprise operations, providing comprehensive solutions for managing various business processes. However, traditional on-premises deployments face significant challenges, such as scalability, high costs, and limited flexibility, which impede the ability of enterprises to adapt to dynamic market conditions. This paper explores how cloud computing is transforming SAP ERP, focusing on the benefits of cloud-based SAP S/4HANA for enhancing flexibility, scalability, and cost efficiency. By integrating cloud technology, businesses can achieve greater operational agility, reduce infrastructure investments, and improve responsiveness to changing business demands. The paper also presents case studies of successful cloud migrations, discusses common challenges encountered during the adoption of cloud-based SAP ERP, and provides best practices for overcoming these obstacles. The future of SAP ERP in the cloud, with emerging trends such as AI and machine learning, is also examined to highlight its role in driving the next generation of digital transformation.
