About Me

I am a Computer Science lecturer at Allover Central Polytechnic (Akure Main Campus) Akure, Ondo State. I am currently running my PhD programme in the School of Computer Science, Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria. I am the Founder of LITES AFRICA (Ladies in Technology Engineering and Science) a non-profit making organization with over two hundred members cut across the globe with the vision to educate, inspire and empower girls/women in STEM.

Reporting to the Head of Department and responsible for:

  • Lecturing undergraduate students in courses allocated by the

Head of Department.

  • Supervising or assist with supervision of undergraduate projects.
  • Contributing to the development, planning and implementation of

a high quality curriculum.

  • Assisting in the development of learning materials, preparing

schemes of work and maintaining records to monitor student

progress, achievement and attendance.

  • Participating in departmental and faculty seminars aimed at s

haring research outcomes and building interdisciplinary collaboration

within and outside the department.

  • Participating in the development, administration and marking

of exams and other assessments.

  • Providing mentorship and support to students.

Reporting to the Managing Director/CEO and responsible for:

  • Handling the responsibilities of receiving goods, processing documentation, storing delivering at warehouse, tracking as well as distributing materials to the point of delivery.
  • Producing documents, reports and statistical information for the Management.
  • Provide a structure that will ensure the operation and maintenance of the distribution systems, to give continuous, safe and reliable distribution channels to our customers.
  • Warehousing, Tracking of shipments and supervising the deliveries.
  • Assigned the tasks of handling clients’ complaints and implementing corrective actions.
  • Developing quotes and proposals
  • Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person
  • Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers
  • Preparing presentations and sales displays.

Re  Reporting to Managing Director/CEO and responsible for:

  • Act as the principal administrator and ensure the maintenance of the Organization’s systems, including: general computer support; software installations; license management; server set up and management; database administration; network, printers, audio/video conferencing and mobile phone support; deployment of equipment; management of inventories; disaster recovery; and periodic security vulnerability assessments.
  • Manage support services for the Company’s IT systems, platforms, and products; including management of IT support technician(s), communicating job expectations, and appraising performance as appropriate.
  • Support and contribute to IT-related tasks or projects through the implementation of appropriate technologies and solutions.
  • Provide user training on common business applications and use of systems.
  • Develop and update IT processes and procedures, and ensure they are properly documented.
  • Support the procurement process for IT equipment and services.
  • Advice or train users regarding the technical aspects and use of software packages.
  • Analyze systems requirements and prepare cost/benefit analysis of alternative solutions.
  • Implement, configure and test feasible solutions.
